Our Review
A pleasure by Sonia Estevez is a must-watch for anyone who needs a gentle nudge to find joy in life’s simplest, most beautiful moments.
In a world that often glorifies the grand and extravagant, this stop-motion short film is a refreshing reminder of the quiet beauty found in life’s simplest moments. With stunning animation and meticulous craftsmanship, the film gently guides us through a narrative that highlights the small joys we often overlook—sunlight filtering through leaves, the rhythmic drip of rain on a windowsill, the warmth of a cup of tea in cold hands. Each frame is a testament to the patience and dedication of stop-motion artistry.

Director Statement
Plazer bat tries to highlight those simple pleasures that are peculiar to each person, but which to a large extent coincide. Situations and acts that go unnoticed, those that one does not put on the list when telling another person what they have done to their advantage that day. Things that are exhausted in themselves and that do not lead to great arguments when one reflects on them, on why they are pleasurable, but which nevertheless seem to hide some wisdom, something profound that is only revealed in their mere execution.
