Director Statement
I grew up learning history all my life and am grateful for the sacrifices made by the ancestors who came before me. When my Mom returned from a presentation she made about Harriet Tubman in Beaufort, South Carolina, and shared what happened during her trip, I was impacted and knew the message would resonate with others. I made this film to share why we all should be "Chasing Harriet"...she was one of the greatest icons of our time!
