EDEN: THE CELL

Synopsis

After a nightmarish encounter with her boyfriend and pusher Cosmo, where Eden thought for sure her life was going to end, she finds herself in the custody of the local sheriff. Still dazed from the heroin that was forced into her body Eden finds herself alone, and without answers. She can only sit in her solitude, reflecting on her past, and hoping this is not the end of her story.

Director - ANDREW BLAKE DOYLE

Our Review

Story telling is an art and it comes in various style. It doesn’t need to leave us feel warm and fuzzy all the time to be powerful. Dark scripts can be very powerful too, especially when they’re about serious issues, like drugs and gun shooting.

The writers has attempted well to ensure we get the time to know Eden as she struggles with her addiction.

This short film is a painful truth about how drugs can affect your life. To watch this movie really hurts. This is a kind of movie you can rely if you want to convince someone to stop doing drugs and get hold of life before things get out of control. A special mention for the performance of Julie Kline - Kudos.
