Synopsis
Be kind to yourself.
Our Review
Lotus by Bryce Mackie and Brennan Collins is an introspective short film that delivers a powerful message about self-compassion. With only one actor on screen, the film explores an intimate dialogue between a man and his own consciousness, guiding himself toward healing through self-reflection and kindness. The cinematography enhances this intimacy—soft lighting and close-up shots emphasize his vulnerability, while moments of silence allow the weight of his words to settle.
