Our Review
Joe Maloney's Mother is a psychological horror about Adam, a grieving father, and his wife Sarah, who can’t cope with their son’s death. Sarah becomes obsessed and attempts to bring their son back by disturbing his grave and sewing her heart into his body. As Adam discovers her horrifying actions, he faces the destructive power of her love. The story explores grief, guilt, and obsession. With some improvements in pacing and character depth, it could make a powerful short film.
