Our Review
Nicaragua & Uriarte by Tano Levi is stunning, emotional masterpiece that captures the fragile beauty of love and the devastating madness of loss. Absolutely unmissable.
This short film is one of those rare pieces, an exquisitely crafted exploration of grief, love, and the aching emptiness left behind when someone you cherish is suddenly gone.
The cinematography is breathtaking, using light and shadow to mirror the protagonist’s emotional state. The sound design is equally compelling, relying on soft, almost ghostly echoes of memories. What truly makes this film exceptional is its honesty as it allows us to sit with the pain, to feel the weight of loss, and to recognize the love that lingers even in its absence. The lead actor masterfully conveys grief through subtle expression making every moment feel deeply personal.
