Our Review
Not paranoid by David L Shepher is a psychological drama that delves into paranoia, grief, and the fragile line between reality and delusion. The short film follows a doctor plagued by an ever-growing sense of paranoia, crossing paths with a widow suffering from a delusion so deep it blurs the truth. its tense, atmospheric storytelling. The cinematography makes excellent use of dim lighting, sharp contrasts, and claustrophobic framing to mirror the doctor’s unraveling psyche and the sound design further enhances this unease.Their interactions are laced with tension, leaving the audience wondering who is truly losing their grip on reality. The ending, while ambiguous, might leave some viewers craving a clearer resolution. However, its psychological depth and moody execution make it a gripping watch.
