Synopsis
This film tells about a neglected old lady who uses a Polaroid to recollect her fond memories from the old days. This film was inspired by my personal life story growing up with my grandparents. I wanted to address what elderly people genuinely need: company. This need is all too often overlooked.
Our Review
Most movies place the role of old age as a gloomy, dull, slowing and withering process. And these do not seem to make so much sense at present age. This stage can be a living, happy phase of life, with the beauty offered by the perspective of time & experience one has gone through. The old lady and Polaroid just beautifully unfolds the relationship between the grandmother & the grandchild. How the learning is shared and they rejoice their relationship is beautiful to see. Both their performance, expression are noteworthy.
