You'll Remember Me

Synopsis

This heartfelt drama brings to light how a temporary memory loss affects everyday life and emotions. When a photographer doesn’t recognize her own husband due to Transient Global Amnesia, she must be open, in a world of confusion, to the evidence he sets before her of their love for one another.

Our Review

You’ll remember me by Brad Roberts is a poignant and heartbreaking watch, a reminder that true love is not just about the past but about choosing someone in the present—even if they no longer remember choosing you.

The performances are the heart of the film. The lead actor brings a deep moving presence, portraying a man whose love outweighs his sorrow. Meanwhile, the actress playing his wife balances vulnerability with fleeting moments of joy, capturing the disorientation and occasional frustration of her condition. Their chemistry makes the film’s emotional weight feel raw and real.

This film rather than relying on heavy-handed drama, it lets silence, stolen glances, small gesture and comforting words convey the depth of their relationship. The ending, though inevitable, leaves a lasting impact, reminding us that love, at its purest, is not about being remembered but about continuing to give even when receiving nothing in return.

Director Biography - Brad Roberts

Brad was born in Wichita, Kansas but has grown up in the South. When he was a year old, his dad, an aerospace engineer for Boeing, moved to Huntsville, Alabama to work on the Apollo space program. Brad was introduced to the theatre at a very early age and performed in numerous high school, church, and community theatre productions. He eventually went on to earn a BFA in Theatre Performance degree from Auburn University in 1986. Brad left the entertainment industry in the late 1980's, started a family, earned a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Information Systems, and now works in software development. But now as an empty nester, Brad has returned to his first love and is rebuilding his career as an actor but also learning directing, screenwriting, and voice overs. Director Statement

Director Statement

The story, to me, is one that needs to be told. The love of a husband who stays faithful to his wife even with the repeated episodes of her not remembering him and their marriage is a beautiful example of what a true marriage should be, faithful know matter what happens. This short script was great fit for me as a first time director to learn what the directing process is all about. The experience was challenging and I have a long list of ‘lessons learned’ that will guide me for the next directing opportunity but thoroughly enjoyed learning and working with a great cast and crew.
